Skeletal Support

The human skeleton makes up on average around 15% of the human body. This portion of the musculoskeletal system major functions include providing support you the form, stability, and movement in the body. The two major sections, appendicular skeleton (ie limbs) and axial skeleton (ie rib cage, spine, and skull), all work in tandem with your muscular systems to provide the body movement. The Skeletal system also has the major function of blood cell production in the body as well.

Older adults and children are at an increased risk of having issues with their bones and cartilage. From broken bones to bone disease, these groups need to look for sources of calcium in dairy products or calcium supplements to help build strong bones and keep bone density levels optimal. Calcium and vitamin supplements that contain calcium are great ways to help support great bone health.
