Universal cervical collar. So named because it can be adapted on the spot to
many uses and to any of a wide variety of shapes and sizes. With VELCRO
the only fastening device, the two parts of this appliance can be readily
pulled apart and then locked together in an almost unlimited variety of
positions. Thus it can be assembled as a regulation collar--high in front,
low in back--in any height from 2 3/4" to 5"; turned around and upside down,
a Queen Anne style collar in any height from 2 3/4" to 5"; a torticollis support
to achieve right or left lateral extension, simply by assembling the parts so
that the high part is on the side desired. No metal parts.
